Usman Iftikhar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Catalysr. Usman is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, the G20 Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance Mobility Lead for Australia, Westpac Social Change Fellow 2019, AMP Tomorrow Maker of 2018 and the 2018 Commonwealth Young Person of the Year.
Usman delivered the keynote speech at the UN World Investment Forum 2018, where he launched UNCTAD, UNHCR and IOM’s Joint Policy Guide on Entrepreneurship for Migrants and Refugees. Usman’s work is focused on empowering migrant and refugee entrepreneurs in Australia to launch their own start-ups. Usman’s organisation – Catalysr, has helped over 100 migrant entrepreneurs launch 30 start-ups in their first 2.5 years.
