Regional Opportunities Australia is pleased to partner with Captain Cook Cruises in beautiful Sydney harbour for their #ThankYouThursdays campaign to celebrate post COVID19 re-opening of the state.
The team at Captain Cook Cruises wanted to reward charities that have been working hard to help people during lockdown by raising much needed funds for three charity partners – ROA, Foodbank and Lifeline.
This morning the ROA team joined Captain Cook staff and representatives from the other charities for a morning cruise around the harbour with Channel 7’s Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac. This represented a great opportunity for the team to take a breather and to raise awareness about our important work linking migrants to regional jobs and lifestyle opportunities. It was also an opportunity to see the dancing talents of our colleague Ted!
Between now and the 23rd December you can book a lunch or dinner cruise on a Thursday for just $69 pp and $5 from every ticket will go into a pool of funds for the three charity partners which will be distributed according to a voting system. Every charity will receive funds but the more votes we get the greater the proportion of funds we will receive. So please head to the Captain Cook Cruises website to vote for Regional Opportunities Australia. You don’t need to buy a ticket to vote so please take a moment to do it now!
We are honoured to be part of this campaign and helping Sydneysiders to get back out and enjoy our beautiful city whilst also promoting the work of ROA.
